The Journey from Repentance to Revival: Pentecost (Part 1)

Was Pentecost After Jesus Died?

Yes.  What Christians refer to as Pentecost (the fiftieth day) took place after Jesus Christ died on the cross, was buried, resurrected, and later, ascended to Heaven.
Pentecost in the Christian tradition coincides with the Feast of Shavuot in the Jewish tradition.
Pentecost is referred to in Scripture multiple times.  Below is one of those Bible verses:
“When the Day of Pentecost had fully come, they were all with one accord in one place.” ~Acts 2.1
Pentecost is also a manifested fulfillment of at least one aspect of God’s Word, in Christ, articulated in Scripture as follows:
“Therefore being exalted to the right hand of God, and having received from the Father the promise of the Holy Spirit, He poured out this (Holy Spirit) which you now see and hear.” ~Acts 2.33
Read Acts 2 in its entirety for additional context and details.
